Hein Vorster
Hein is Chairman of the Board and founder of XCircle, a leading provider of modular data center and critical infrastructure solutions.
With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Hein has a deep understanding of the challenges facing modern businesses and a track record of developing innovative solutions to meet their needs.
Prior to co-founding XCircle, Hein managed his own company in South Africa and was instrumental in driving the success of being a leading ICT provider in Africa. He is passionate about using technology to improve efficiency and competitiveness, and is committed to building a strong, values-driven culture at XCircle.
Lex Van Wyk
A pioneering figure in the data center industry, Lex is the founder of Teraco Data Environments and a board member of XCircle. Under his leadership, Teraco grew to become Africa's largest data center company, attracting investments from Berkshire LLC and Digital Realty. His vision and expertise in establishing major data center operations have been instrumental in shaping the African digital infrastructure landscape. At XCircle, Lex brings his extensive experience in scalable infrastructure solutions and strategic growth.
Sanjay Surana
Sanjay Surana is the founder of Group Rhine & Rhine XCircle. At Group Rhine, he leads the company’s strategic vision and drives innovation in the energy sector with a vast portfolio of power management & distribution products. He is committed to sustainable growth and pioneering solutions to meet India’s increasing energy demands. Under his guidance, Group Rhine entered into a joint venture partnership with XCircle Australia to establish Rhine XCircle, which has pioneered modular and prefabricated edge data centers in India.
With over 35 years of experience, Sanjay co-founded Adlec Power in 1996, transforming it into a leading manufacturer of low-voltage switchboards in India. His strategic leadership and vision led to its integration into Legrand, a global leader in electrical systems, where Sanjay continues to contribute as a member of the Legrand India Management Board.
A visionary entrepreneur, Sanjay is known for his strategic foresight and deep industry expertise, focusing on innovation, operational efficiency, and long-term value. He excels at building strong partnerships and navigating the evolving energy landscape. He is also committed to social causes, including improving education for underprivileged children and promoting environmental sustainability.
Sanjay holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Delhi University. He is an avid sportsman and enjoys running and squash.
Anjani Kumar
Anjani Kumar Kommisetti is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of experience in the Enterprise IT segment, specializing in data center Infrastructure, remote infrastructure management, and strategic market development.
He is a founding member of Rhine XCircle, a joint venture between Group Rhine and XCircle Australia. His current responsibilities include business development and industry engagement, besides playing a pivotal role in articulating the company's value proposition and aligning its solutions with evolving market needs.
Anjani spent nearly 15 years at Legrand, where he last served as Country Manager for India & SAARC for Raritan and ServerTech, leading brands of Legrand. In 2019, he played a crucial role in consolidating Legrand’s data center companies into a unified business unit, Legrand Data Center Solutions (LDCS). From 2019 to 2024, he was part of the LDCS leadership team, driving the division’s growth and establishing it as a trusted provider of mission-critical power management and remote monitoring solutions across sectors such as telecom, IT, BFSI, government, and cloud services.
Known for his technical expertise and customer-focused approach, Anjani excels in driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and crafting tailored solutions for clients. His deep understanding of market dynamics enables him to create impactful strategies that deliver sustainable value.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Andhra University. Outside of work, Anjani is passionate about sustainable farming and enjoys mentoring young talent.
